Common Cranes, at overnight roost at dawn, Grus grus, wintering at the Hula Lake Park, known in Hebrew as Agamon HaHula in the Hula Valley Northern Israel. Farmers spread 8 tons of Maize a day on to the marsh to keep the cranes from damaging their crops in the surrounding farmland. Over 30,000 cranes now flock here for the free food hand out which has become a big tourist attraction for Israeli's. The park lies just a few kilometres from the Syrian and Lebanese borders.
